Consolidated Properties Group expands team; gears up for growth

05 MARCH 2019 –

Developer Consolidated Properties Group has started 2019 by adding three industry heavyweights to its frontline.

The new retail, development and marketing recruits have been appointed as Consolidated Properties Group begins its  40th year in business, with a $2.1 billion portfolio boasting more than 200 residential, retail and commercial projects.

Rob Clifton – who has 20 years of experience, including senior positions with Stockland and QIC – has been appointed as National Manager for Retail Leasing.

Mr Clifton will spearhead the division with a focus on sharpening occupancy, investment objectives and driving future expansion.

Project Director Clinton Amble, formerly of Lendlease and Mirvac, also joins the team with more than a decade of industry experience.

Mr Amble will take charge of the developer’s residential work book, which includes the $850 million Yeerongpilly Green urban village and the $600 million Cornerstone Living project in Coopers Plains.

Closing out the dynamic line up is marketing chief, Chelsey Blount, who will run the company’s  communications strategy including branding, digital, advertising and creative campaigns.

Chelsey’s  nous in the property industry is reflected in her  seven years of experience in the profession, most recently with Ray White and SSKB.

Consolidated Properties Group Executive Chairman Don O’Rorke says all three appointments are a major coup for the company.

“As we have approached the 40 year milestone this year, it’s the right time to ensure our most important asset – our team – is the best it can be, with the capacity and capability to drive future growth,” he said.

“The year ahead promises to be even bigger than 2018, which saw the launch of our new small commercial projects division, the start of upgrade and expansion works on three neighbourhood shopping centres in South East Queensland and the beginning of Yeerongpilly Green.

“Our diverse portfolio and track record of successful tenders a reflection of the aptitude of our people. Each of our new senior staff are leaders in their fields, so I’m confident they will navigate future challenges and opportunities.”
