Consolidated Properties Group purchased the Monarch site at 600 Coronation Drive for $43.5 million from Sunland in March 2021. The development application was filed in November 2021 and approved in July 2022.

Hutchinson Builders have completed construction on the $450 million Monarch Residences in Toowong.

The project, delivered by Consolidated Properties Group in conjunction with funding partner Qualitas, is positioned on a 1.2 hectare site with 130 metres of river frontage, and will boast 224 apartments and penthouse residences across two buildings.
