Brisbane’s Private Credit & Property Leaders Unite for Showcase 2026
More than 1,000 of Australia’s leading business, property and government representatives will converge on Brisbane this week for Showcase 2026, one of the city’s premier annual property events.
Held across Thursday 30 July and Friday 31 July, the three-part event series has become a cornerstone of Brisbane’s business calendar, bringing together senior decision-makers to celebrate industry achievements, foster meaningful connections and discuss the opportunities shaping the future of South East Queensland.
The program commences on Thursday with the 2026 Queensland Property Outlook Investor Showcase Lunch hosted by Australian-Israel Chamber of Commerce, with sponsorship by Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) and CVS Lane Capital Partners. Now in its sixth year, the partnership continues to provide a valuable forum for business leaders to connect and exchange ideas.
Thursday evening will see more than 800 guests gather at Brisbane’s iconic Fortitude Music Hall for the Showcase Cocktail Party, proudly co-hosted by CPG and Hutchinson Builders, alongside long-standing partners Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) and The Urban Developer.
Celebrating its 29th year, the Cocktail Party has established itself as one of Brisbane’s most anticipated industry events, attracting influential leaders from across the property, construction, business and government sectors.

The event will welcome distinguished guests including Deputy Premier of Queensland, the Honourable Jarrod Bleijie MP, and Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, who will address attendees alongside other industry leaders, sharing insights on Queensland’s economic outlook, Brisbane’s continued growth, and the opportunities shaping the region’s future. In addition, speeches were made by hosts, Scott Hutchinson, Chairman of Hutchinson Builders, Jack Hutchinson, Director of Hutchinson Builders, Don O’Rorke and CEO & Chairman of Consolidated Properties Group (CPG).
Other notable guests were a wide range of Federal, Queensland & Local government, Paula Spiro, Chairman, Brisbane Economic Development Agency, and even competitors to the hosts including a range of Developers.
The event series concludes on Friday with an exclusive, invitation-only executive briefing hosted by CPG and BEDA. Now in its third year, the private session offers attendees the opportunity to engage in candid discussions with senior leaders and key decision-makers on the issues and opportunities driving Brisbane’s continued growth.
Don O’Rorke, Chairman and CEO of Consolidated Properties Group, said Showcase 2026 marked another milestone in the event’s long-standing legacy.
“As Brisbane continues to strengthen its position as a global city and prepares for the opportunities ahead, Showcase 2026 provides a unique platform to bring together the people and organisations helping shape its future.
With nearly three decades of history, Showcase continues to demonstrate the strength of collaboration between industry, government and business, reinforcing Brisbane’s position as one of Australia’s most dynamic and forward-looking cities” Mr O’Rorke said.
