Cafe 63 Opens Sixth Store at Wilsonton Shopping Centre

Toowoomba favourite Cafe 63 has opened its sixth store in the region at Wilsonton Shopping Centre.

The popular family-friendly franchise has secured a 300sqm premises including a large alfresco dining space, and will be serving its famed all day breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.

The cafe, which is dog friendly, will be open seven days for dine-in and takeaway.

Cafe 63 Manager Linh Phan says the move to Wilsonton is an opportunity to reach new customers in the region.

“Wilsonton Shopping Centre is a great fit for us, as it gives us a chance to expand to the northern suburbs and become part of what is already a well established dining and retail precinct,” she said.

“It also suits our family friendly menu and atmosphere – we cater to all tastebuds and we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed, friendly environment for people of all ages.

“The secret to our success is the speed, friendly consistent food and drinks. At the very front of our menu there is a full page of ‘extras’ available, so meals can be customised, which is perfect for fussy eaters.

“We also have a special kids’ menu with all the favourites such as waffles, pizza, pasta and chicken nuggets, and for more mature tastes, we have dishes like Mash Avo63 and Bircher muesli, alongside salads, toasted sandwiches, wraps, burgers and hot meals.

“All up we have 179 items on our current menu, covering everything from classic breakfasts – with six types of bacon and eggs and five styles of pancakes – and health food through to pub favourites and international style dishes.

“Our menu has low gluten, vegetarian and plant based options, so we are confident there is something here for everyone.”

Wilsonton Shopping Centre is owned and managed by Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners.

Consolidated Properties Group Executive Director of Retail, Craig O’Donnell, says Cafe 63 offers the centre’s first dine-in experience, joining multiple takeaway and fresh food retailers.

“Cafe 63 is a welcome addition, giving our customers the opportunity to come to the centre to meet, eat and socialise when they do their shopping,” he said.

“It’s the perfect complement to our fast food retailers including Subway, Pizza Hut, KFC and Hungry Jacks, and our fresh food department featuring Coles, Woolworths, a butcher and bakery.

“We’re thrilled to have such a well recognised and much loved brand as our first dine-in cafe operator, and look forward to seeing lots of families join us for a meal in the New Year.”
