City Cave To Open 13th Location At Arndale Shopping Centre In April

Shoppers can look forward to a little ‘R and R’ – retail and relaxation – when one of Australia’s top wellness centres opens at Arndale Shopping Centre in April.

City Cave, which has 13 locations across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney, offers an urban retreat complete with floatation therapy, infrared saunas and remedial massage all under one roof.

The wellness franchise has secured 250sqm on a 10 year lease at Arndale Shopping Centre, which has recently undergone a $20 million upgrade.

City Cave’s Damian Coppolecchia says the new location in the Springwood-based shopping hub provides another convenient location for members to unwind.

“City Cave offers a monthly membership program which allows customers to access our services at any of our locations,” he said.

“Membership unlocks one service – a float session, sauna or massage – per month and members can pay as they go for any additional services they require.

“The inspiration for City Cave stemmed from recognising that people were after a combination of wellness services in the one place, which is easily accessible.

“People also want flexibility, so if they miss a month, sessions can accrue or be used towards additional services.

“Arndale Shopping Centre is an ideal spot for City Cave – our members can enjoy a bit of pampering after they shop and we welcome walk-ins, so it’s an opportunity for people who want to access our services casually to explore what we have to offer.”

Arndale Shopping Centre is owned and managed by Consolidated Properties Group in partnership with CVS Lane Capital Partners.

Consolidated Properties Group Executive Director of Retail, Craig O’Donnell, says City Cave complements the centre’s existing health, wellness and beauty retailers.

“We have a hairdresser, barber, nail salon, medical centre, pharmacy and skin care centre, so City Cave is a welcome addition,” he said.

“The role of the neighbourhood shopping centre is becoming increasingly diverse. It’s not just a place to do groceries and fill a prescription, people are increasingly wanting recreation and lifestyle services as part of the offering.

“The recent rejuvenation of the centre, which included a comprehensive structural and cosmetic upgrade, has attracted a range of quality new tenants, like City Cave, to Arndale which has improved the shopping experience for customers.”
