Consolidated Properties Group Bolsters Palm Beach’s Reputation as Premier Gold Coast Foodie Destination with New Pavilions Dining Precinct

Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) has further cemented Palm Beach’s emergence as one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after food destinations following the creation of a new dedicated dining precinct at its Pavilions Palm Beach shopping centre.

The precinct has been established through the strategic reconfiguration of retail tenancies within the centre, bringing together a refreshed collection of hospitality operators fronting the Gold Coast Highway and Fifth Avenue.

The new precinct is anchored by foundation tenant Pepe Italia Restaurant & Deli and strengthened by the signing of two new food operators – UE Bagels and Palms Indian Restaurant – delivering an expanded dining experience for locals and visitors alike.

UE Bagels has committed to a 150sqm corner tenancy fronting the Gold Coast Highway on a five-year lease, positioning the artisan bagel operator in one of the centre’s highest-profile locations.

Palms Indian Restaurant has taken 90qm on a seven-year lease, further broadening the precinct’s culinary offering with authentic Indian cuisine.

They join an eclectic mix of other al fresco eateries and cafes within Pavilions including plant-based dining & salad bar venue Dalas Kitchen, boutique coffee, vegan food and lifestyle outlet Vegepatch Studios, gourmet burger restaurant Pattysmiths, casual breakfast and juice outlet Chill In Café, Sushi at Palm Beach, award-winning small batch Italian ice creamery Tango Gelato, premium butcher Salt & Smoke Meat Co, Guzman y Gomez Mexican and Dominos Pizza.

UE Bagels is now open and Palms Indian fitout is underway, with opening scheduled for late August.

The latest leasing outcomes represent another milestone in the ongoing evolution of Pavilions Palm Beach, which has undergone significant repositioning since CPG and CVS Lane Capital Partners acquired the beachside centre in 2017 and commenced a multi-million-dollar refurbishment.

The transformation has included delivery of a new full-line Coles supermarket and extensive upgrades to the retail environment that have progressively attracted a mix of distinctive local operators including medical, pharmacy, dental, fitness and wellness providers.

The addition of UE Bagels and Palms Indian continues that strategy by creating a stronger food and beverage destination that complements Palm Beach’s growing reputation as one of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant beach neighbourhoods.

Pavilions Palm Beach is one of six neighbourhood shopping centres currently being offered to the market by CPG and CVS Lane Capital Partners as part of an amalgamated South East Queensland retail portfolio valued at approximately $600 million.

The portfolio follows several years of active asset management across the centres, including tenancy repositioning, leasing initiatives and capital upgrades designed to enhance customer amenity, strengthen tenant performance and create long-term value for investors.

CPG Retail Leasing National Manager Rob Clifton says Pavilions’ expanded dining precinct reflects the company’s long-term approach to active asset management and placemaking.
