CPG & CVS provide $5K boost to Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners, joint owners and managers of the Pavilions at Palm Beach, have shown commitment to the growth of the region by making a $5,000 donation to the Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC).

Simone Haugh from Palm Beach SLSC said the generous donation went towards a raffle prize which included a seven-night stay at Hamilton Island, with the money from raffle tickets affording the club a brand-new ATV (all-terrain vehicle).

“We are so grateful to receive this donation which allowed us to purchase vital lifesaving equipment to make our local beaches safer,” she said.

“Our beaches can get extremely busy, especially over the holiday season, and having more lifesaving resources ultimately means we can safely patrol wider areas at the one time.

“It’s great to see Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners actively involved in supporting our community. We are looking forward to the completion of the new stage of Palm Beach Pavilions, which will be a fantastic amenity for all residents.”

Consolidated Properties Group’s National Manager for Retail Leasing Rob Clifton said the construction of a new 3,700sqm supermarket at Palm Beach Pavilions was on track for completion by September.

He said the existing Coles store at Palm Beach Pavilions would move in to the supermarket space, making way for new specialty retailers, who are already lining up to secure tenancies.

“We have seen an increase in enquiry as the refurbishment and expansion of the centre nears the finish line,” he said.

“Only a few tenancies remain available for lease from 50sqm to 150sqm.”

Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners have also committed $10,000 to sponsor the upcoming Feast on Fifth event, which is part of the Gold Coast’s annual Bleach Festival.

The free Feast on Fifth event sees thousands of locals converge on Fifth Avenue, Palm Beach, for an evening of gourmet street-eats and live music – the Festival’s take on a classic Australian street party.

Feast on Fifth will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 4pm onwards.
