Lifeline Darling Downs unveils new look Wilsonton Store
Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland Ltd unveiled their new look store at Wilsonton Shopping Centre this week.
The store has been transformed under Lifeline’s corporate branding and is a welcome addition to the stores within the shopping centre.
“We are absolutely delighted with our new look store which complements the redevelopment of the Wilsonton Shopping Centre. We can’t thank the team at Impact Shopfitters for the wonderful job they have done with the space”, Lifeline Darling Downs, CEO, Derek Tuffield said.
For 31 years Lifeline Darling Downs has traded from a store external in the shopping centre but heavy rain in late October caused flooding and major damage.
Wilsonton Shopping Centre is undergoing a $20 million upgrade by Consolidated Properties Group which owns and manages the centre in partnership with CVS Lane Capital Partners.
Consolidated Properties Group Executive Director of Retail Craig O’Donnell says the upgraded Lifeline store will benefit the community.
“It’s fantastic to see Lifeline returning to Wilsonton Shopping Centre, with a bigger and brighter storefront,” he said.
“Part of the strategy with our revitalisation of the shopping centre is to provide opportunities for long term tenants to upgrade and grow their business.
“Lifeline has been an integral part of this community for many years and we are excited to see the new store open its doors today.”
The Lifeline Wilsonton store will trade Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm at Shop T5 next to
Members of the public are invited to pop in and check out the new store with all proceeds going to support Lifeline Darling Downs’ suicide prevention and crisis support services.
