New look Hungry Jack’s open at Wilsonton Shopping Centre

Fast food giant Hungry Jack’s is the latest retailer to unveil its new-look store at Wilsonton Shopping Centre, which is undergoing a $20 million upgrade.

The revitalisation, being led by Wilsonton Shopping Centre owners and managers Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners, is due for completion later this year and will see the whole centre refreshed and rejuvenated. 

Hutchinson Builders are due to complete the first stage of the upgrade – the construction phase – in the coming weeks.

A number of traders have opted for a full in-store refurbishment, with Hungry Jack’s this week taking the wraps off its revamped restaurant, 30 years after its doors first opened at Wilsonton.

Hungry Jack’s Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Baird, says while Hungry Jack’s Wilsonton has a new look, it features the same great tasting menu.

“Hungry Jack’s is excited to welcome the local community to its newly refurbished Toowoomba restaurant and looks forward to continuing to provide Hungry Jack’s great tasting menu to customers,” he said.

“The new and improved restaurant will feature a 24-hour Drive Thru, state-of-the-art kitchen and Hungry Jack’s signature new interior design, creating a fun and welcoming dining experience in one of the premier retail hubs of Toowoomba.”

Consolidated Properties Group National Retail Leasing Manager Rob Clifton says the Wilsonton Shopping Centre upgrade has sparked activity from both new and existing tenants. 

“Hungry Jack’s has served this community since 1985, and it’s fantastic to see them making the investment to upgrade their store so they can continue to provide top service for many years to come,” he said.

“This is the second store upgrade unveiled at Wilsonton in recent weeks, with long term tenant Lifeline also welcoming locals to its new and improved shop.” 

“We are getting steady enquiry for the limited number of retail tenancies that remain available. We have already confirmed a number of key tenants and are in negotiations with additional retailers including a major restaurant group.”

Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners commenced refurbishment of the 18,500sqm Wilsonton Shopping Centre in September 2018.
