Over 1000 of Brisbane’s business elite unite and celebrate at Showcase 2024

Leading property industry partners Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) and Hutchinson Builders have wrapped up their 27th annual Showcase event, shining the spotlight on Brisbane’s surging property, infrastructure and investment sectors in the run-up to the 2032 Olympics and beyond.

Showcase 2024 featured a series of events staged at CBD locations over Thursday and Friday and attracted a record 1000-plus participants from around the country, in what has become one of Brisbane’s most influential annual business and investment event, a must-have ticket for the city’s business elite.

On Thursday, Consolidated Properties together with the Australian-Israel Chamber of Commerce and CVS Lane Capital Partners co-hosted the Showcase 2024 Lunch, with more than 250 property industry professionals in attendance.

Following the lunch, Consolidated joined with Hutchinson Builders and the Brisbane-Economic Development Agency (BEDA) to host Brisbane’s 27th annual Showcase Cocktail Party. More than 800 guests packed into the Fortitude Music Hall, including Queensland Premier Stephen Miles, Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, and the who’s who of the city’s property, construction and financial sectors.

Continuing the Showcase events on Friday, an exclusive series of briefings hosted by Consolidated Properties and BEDA, featured intimate discussions with Brisbane’s key decision-makers. With only 20 participants per session, the briefings included insights from the State Government, Lord Mayor Schrinner and Queensland’s Shadow Treasurer Mr David Janetzki. The sessions were designed to provide a unique platform for in-depth conversations on Brisbane’s future growth and development.

Consolidated Properties Group CEO and Chairman Don O’Rorke said this year’s Showcase was the most successful yet.

“For the past 27 years we’ve hosted our iconic EOFY party, bringing together Brisbane’s leaders in the construction and business sectors, and using the event to celebrate all we have achieved as a city and a State over the past year, and also a way to say thank you to those we do business with,” Mr O’Rorke said

“Continuing the momentum generated last year, this year for the second time we partnered with CVS Lane Capital Partners and the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce to host the lunch, which once again served as a forum for us to discuss and celebrate the people, companies and industries that have continued to build and develop South-East Queensland over the past 12 months.”

Hutchinson Builders director Jack Hutchinson said: “Co-hosting the EOFY celebration with our friends Consolidated Properties Group is something we look forward to every year, as it provides the perfect opportunity for the industry and friends of the industry to get together and reflect on the progress we’ve seen over the past year, while looking to the year ahead and the future of what we can all achieve together.”
