Pizza Hut To Reopen At Wilsonton Shopping Centre

Pizza Hut has secured a new slice of Wilsonton Shopping Centre, with plans to relocate its store within the retail precinct.

The current Pizza Hut store, located on the corner of Bridge Street and Richmond Drive, will temporarily close to make way for a new convenience centre featuring a 7 Eleven, Taco Bell and Carwash Express.

Pizza fans will soon be able to pick up a box of their favourite from the new store, located in the main building, which has been secured on a five year lease.

Wilsonton Shopping Centre is owned and managed by Consolidated Properties Group.

Consolidated Properties Group Executive Director of Retail, Craig O’Donnell,  says the fit out for the new Pizza Hut store has commenced.

“Work is underway and Pizza Hut is aiming to open its new store to customers in late August,” he said.

“The new store has a great corner location and will offer the same level of service for both take away and delivery orders.

“It’s anticipated there may be a few new job opportunities when the store opens.

Mr O’Donnell says many long term tenants are choosing to re-commit to the shopping precinct.

“Over the past year we have undertaken a significant upgrade of the centre, and we have been pleased to have many of our tenants choose to stay with us to leverage the benefits of our new look precinct,” he said.

“Many tenants have upgraded their fit out and service offering in line with the centre’s rejuvenation, so we are seeing improvements right across the board, resulting in a better shopping experience for customers.

“We’ve been thrilled to welcome a few new retailers, most recently Oh Sushi and Bowls, and we look forward to starting construction on our new stage two precinct shortly to bring on board 7 Eleven, Taco Bell and Carwash Express.”
