Queensland Music Festival joins forces with Cornerstone Living
Our Cornerstone Living project recently joined forces with Queensland Music Festival for the Keys to the City Event. Keys to the City is a unique large-scale community engagement project, involving piano players of all skill levels and training across Brisbane.
Over 17 days, pods of pianos popped-up in 40 locations across Brisbane City and surrounding regions, to be spontaneously played by passers-by and amateurs who had booked their spot online, as well as by professional pianists scheduled by Queensland Music Festival. Libraries, parks, markets and shopping centres came alive with the sound of music!
Cornerstone Living was proud to be a part of this festival by sponsoring the Sunnybank event that took place on Monday the 27th July. We had more than 30 enthusiastic pianists participate in a 60 minute work shop with renowned jazz musician, James Morrison. It was a great event! We have displayed some videos and photos on our Cornerstone Living Facebook and Instagram page so, check them out! #keystothecity
