Wilsonton Shopping Centre Welcomes ‘Oh Sushi And Bowls’

Oh Sushi and Bowls is the latest food venue to secure a sought-after tenancy at the newly-refurbished Wilsonton Shopping Centre, with the Japanese dining and takeaway outlet to opening this week.
It’s the second South-East Queensland restaurant for owner Jong Hak Lee – a sister venue to successful eatery Sushi Party, which opened at Karalee Shopping Village in Ipswich late last year.
Mr Lee said he’s thrilled to present his healthy, global cuisine menu – filled with fresh hand rolls, sashimi, Bento boxes and Japanese bowls – to Wilsonton customers.
“After the successful launch of our Ipswich restaurant at Karalee Village, I wanted to expand our offering within the region and I was really impressed by Wilsonton’s recent upgrade,” he said.
“The new Oh Sushi and Bowls space is warm, cosy and welcoming – designed for locals to dine in or select from an array of takeaway options, whilst making the most of the other shopping attractions.
“I’m excited to be able to provide Toowoomba diners with fresh, authentic, healthy and tasty food options – in a convenient location in the heart of Wilsonton Shopping Centre.”
Alongside Karalee Village, the revamped Wilsonton Shopping Centre is part of a $400 million retail portfolio – jointly held by Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners.
Consolidated Properties Group’s National Retail Leasing Manager, Rob Clifton, said Oh Sushi and Bowls is a wonderful addition to the Centre – joining the likes of fast food brands including Hungry Jacks, KFC and Pizza Hut, with Taco Bell recently signing a lease and expected to open in early 2022.
“We are thrilled to welcome Oh Sushi to Wilsonton Shopping Centre – the latest restaurant to join the already impressive food and dining offering at the complex,” he said.
“With a new outdoor dining space, Wilsonton Shopping Centre has become a premier food shopping destination in its own right – an accessible and convenient option for families who want to shop and dine in one simple location, with ample on-site parking.”
Anchored by Woolworths and Coles supermarkets, Wilsonton Shopping Centre’s $20 million refurbishment was completed at the end of last year – including an outdoor dining precinct and upgrades to the existing mall and centre façade.
